WORKSHOP

In November 2023, schools visit to the AGLOBE Development Center are scheduled to showcase our urban setting, including the RAS and Aquaponics systems. The agenda kicks off by bringing a small, dismantlable prototype to their schools, where we explain the principles of urban farming and underscore the significance of adopting this technology.

On August 17, 2023, at Alimosho Local Government, AGLOBE Development Center convened a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) titled “Fish Farming and Urban Agriculture.” This gathering brought together key stakeholders, including farmers, policy makers, and researchers. During the FGD, these diverse participants engaged in a collaborative conversation aimed at exploring the dynamics, challenges, and opportunities associated with integrating fish farming into urban agriculture practices. The insights gathered from this discussion will play a vital role in shaping future policies and strategies in the field of urban agriculture and fish farming.
